Submersible pump is an important equipment for deep well drawing. The entire unit dives into the water when used. The groundwater is extracted to the surface of the earth, which can be used for life water, mine rescue, industrial cooling, farmland irrigation, sea water upgrading, ship transfer, and the fountain landscape. The hot water submersible pump is used for hot spring bath. It can also be used to draw groundwater from deep well, and can also be used for water extraction engineering such as river, reservoir and aqueduct. It is mainly used for irrigation of farmland and water for human and livestock in high mountain areas. It can also be used in central air conditioning cooling, heat pump unit, cold pump unit, city, factory, railway, mine and site drainage. The normal flow can be reached (5 Cubic meters~ 650 Cubic meters), and the head can reach 10-550 meters per hour.
1. Install leakage protector
The leakage protector is also called a saver, which can be understood from the word "saver". Because the submersible pump works underwater, it is easy to leak electricity and cause electrical loss and even trigger electric shock. If equipped with leakage protector, as long as the submersible pump leakage value large than leakage protector action current value (generally no more than 30 ma), the power of the leakage protector will cut off the submersible pump, so as to avoid the waste of energy, and ensure safety.
2. Do not turn on when the power voltage is abnormal
The low voltage power supply line in the countryside is long and the terminal voltage of the line is too low. When the phase voltage is below 198 v, and the line voltage is lower than 342 v, the motor speed of the submersible pump decreases. When it is not up to 70 per cent of the rated speed, the centrifugal switch will close, causing the start of the coil to be charged and the heating or even the breaking of the winding and capacitor. Instead, the overvoltage causes the motor to overheat and burn the winding. Therefore, when the submersible pump is in operation, the operator must observe the power voltage value at all times. If below 10% of the rated voltage, above 10% of the rated voltage, the motor should be stopped, find out the reason and troubleshoot.
3. Avoid frequent switches
Do not switch the submersible pump frequently, this is because of the backflow when the electric pump stops running, and if it is switched on immediately, it will start the motor load and cause the starting current to be too large to burn the winding. Due to the large current of the start-up, the motor winding of the submersible pump can be fired frequently.
4. The submersible electric pump can be overworked
In order to avoid the long-term overload of the submersible pump, do not draw water with large amount of sand and observe whether the current value is specified on the nameplate. If the current is too large, stop and check. In addition, the time of the pump dehydration operation should not be too long, so as not to overheat the motor and burned.
5. The motor rotation direction should be correct
We should know the rotation direction of the motor, and now there are many types of submersible pumps that can go out of water when turning and reversing. But when reversing, the amount of water is small and current is large, and its reversal time will damage the motor winding.
6. Electrical cable installation and requirements of insulation resistance of the submersible pump
When installing the submersible pump, the cable should be empty and the power cord should not be too long. Do not force the cable when the submersible pump is launched or proposed, so as not to cause the power cord to break. Do not sink into the mud when the submersible pump works, otherwise it will cause the motor to dissipate and burn the motor winding. When installed, the insulation resistance of the motor should not be lower than 0.5 Megaohm.
7. Check the problem and fix it timely
We usually check the motor frequently. If we find cracks or rubber seals damaged or failed, we should replace or repair them in time to avoid water seeping into the submersible pump.
